Use these steps when you first open Wavo.

Chat modes and matching

Wavo lets each match build across three modes — text, voice, then video — at your own pace.

  • Text first: start anonymous with a message, no camera required.
  • Voice banter: warm up with playful, flirty voice before going live.
  • Live video: switch to face-to-face only when both people are ready.

Messages, calls, and profiles

Some features depend on account status, availability, and safety checks.

  • If a message does not send, check your network and account state.
  • If a call fails, allow microphone and camera permissions in the browser.
  • If a profile looks unavailable, the user may be offline or restricted.

Safety and privacy

Keep control of every interaction.

  • Skip a match when the conversation does not feel right.
  • Use block or report tools for abusive, suspicious, or unsafe behavior.
